Welcome to Saveass Cezeta Aces - SCA

Amazing and powerful
Looking like a two-wheeled jet-ski designed for the TV series Thunderbirds, The CZ's futuristic Cezeta owed its unusual appearance to the fact that its bulbous fuel tank was located above the front wheel. The Czech firm's first motor scooter appeared in 1946, with the Cezeta following in the 1950s. Powered by a 171.8cc single-cylinder two-stroke engine, the rubber-suspended Cezeta was also marketed as a Jawa under the 'Boheme' model name. There was even a three-wheeler version, the Type 505, which was available with a variety of commercial bodies. Drupol, the sidecar factory, did use Cezeta with their own Drupol sidecar, which did reuse a lot of the Cezeta parts, and sold it under the name Druzeta.

What can be found about the Cezeta in Facebook?
Quite a lot actually, and it is a fast growing community. Both the Facebook group for Cezetas and the Facebook Cezeta Site are very active communities. As long as you are not able to master the Czech Language this is where you will find the forums and users who are able to answer your questions.

An excellent video inspired by song "Mein Stern" performed by "Max Raabe und Palast Orchester"(original song from "Ayman").
Actors "Duo exoti"(Martin Jelinek and Martin Musil)
Max Raabe (December 12, 1962 in Lünen, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German singer and band leader of the Palast Orchester. He and his orchestra specialize in recreating the sound of German dance and film music of the 1920s and 1930s, especially by performing songs of the Comedian Harmonists.

Is it possible to convert a Cezeta 502 to use the CZ 250 type 455 engine?
After reading techincal manuals for the CZ 125, CZ 175 and CZ 250 iIt appears so. We are not aware that such a transfer have been done, but with the CZ 175 parts more and more scarce it makes sense to do it. Read on to learn more!

Cezeta Production Summary
The Cezeta was delivered in quite a few models and versions. The main versions were the 501 with twin exhaust mufflers, the 502 with the bigger engine and one exhaust muffler on the right side.
And not to forget the utility version 505, which was a utility trike based on the Cezeta Scooter and the Drupol produced Druzeta.
There was a prototype of the new model called 503, but this was never offered for sale.

I'm sending the pictures of my Cezeta 501 for your galleries.
SCA just received a very nice email from Rob Sterkman with pictures of his beautiful two tone green Cezeta 501:
I live in the Netherlands and you can still find Cezetas here nowadays, but mostly these are in a bad condition. My 501 was in a bad condition too, but the body was basically very good and is now fully restored.
Driving it is really like having fun and even with a good way of comfort. Last September I attended a huge classic motorcycle meeting here in NL and won 5th price at this yearly event out off almost 2000 veteran motorcycles from visitors. This big event is called Veteranendag Woerden and will be helt this year 25th of September 2010.
I hope that lots of international owners of a Cezeta, authentic or restored, will send you their photos for the gallery.
Best regards,
Rob Sterkman
(ed: email slightly edited in order to fit the format as an article on the website)
